anyone have any ideas where to get or how to make something like that? Or even what is the rubber stuff used for the legs called? I think it sinks but the main body part could be foam or rubber. It was being used with Gulp! waxies, a sinker like 6 inches up and a slip bobber for panfish
Thanks

Go on a fly fishing and fly tying supply store like Mad River Outfitters. I can't tell I'd that's a topwater sponge spider or a sinking bluegill bully type fly. But the material is just rubber leg material like folks use for topwater poppers and other flies.View attachment 102811

Huh? I R no fisherman lolKoosh ball
Thinking it's the sinking bluegill bully type, based on the way it was being used. I did stop by a fly shop today and picked up a few that are similar enough to try. Hopefully they work out, I'm going to give a few ( maybe all ) to a friend who's doing some fishing with his teenage son. Thanks!Closest thing I can find googling is a bluegill spider fly, but these seem like they may be hand tied? Some of them have only a few legs, while others look more like what you posted above.

I've kind of went silent on the forums lately, I have been diagnosed and started having the symptoms of sciatica (back pain). This doesn't really make me comfortable climbing trees, so my saddle hunting journey has kinda paused.
However, I went out this spring and sold the kayak, I really enjoyed it, but I just wasn't ever comfortable to stand on it. After a few hours on the lake i like being able to stretch my legs. After 2 canceled orders through Richard's, a sleepless night searching, then 7 hours in a van crossing the state in a rainstorm, I picked up my pond prowler 8 (same thing basically as a Bass Raider, Bass Hunter, Pond Prowler, or Sun Dolphin) . Been out every chance i can get so far, and i have enjoyed it immensely. With a few small builds like a cart, i can wheel it right up to my grand caravan, push the front end in, and then go to the back and slide it right in.
