Looking at purchasing a pack, it’s a toss up right now between the tenzing 11.4 and the horn hunter g2. I need a small light weight pack with waist belt. Open to other also looking for some insights and need some help. I’ll need the pack to be able to fit a coat, sticks, and predator.

I have the Horn Hunter Main Beam as well as the Horn Hunter Full Curl. I am not familiar with the g2, but if it is anything like the ones I have it will be a quality pack.

If u don’t need a ton of room look at alps trailblazer it has a waist belt but is more of a smaller pack I bought it for easier hanging in a tree. The main pouch fits my predator and ropes, calls and whatnot will go in outside pocket and it has 3 different lashing spots will hold my cut down lonewolfs or wild edge stepps nice. And it was only 60$ on Amazon

I really like the drop down bow/gun carrier on the alps pack I’m wondering how well they will work with my climbing sticks. Anyone use their packs like this?

I tried it on the alps pursuit pack with full length lone wolfs and didn’t really care for it. With cut down sticks it’s nice, or putting the sticks on each side is nice.. plan is now platform in bag 4 wild edge steps on outside in straps I have some pics somewhere

I’m using diy sticks like beast sticks do you think it will work these. I use three stick and last year tried strapping them down with the compression straps but did not care for that setup.

If anyone is looking for a ALPs pack I have the pathfinder that I just did not like. I'll sell it for 60.00 tyd. I have several kifaru's that I like more...so this needs to find a home. I also have the mystery ranch pop-up 28. Just don't need so many packs.

Thanks I would appreciate the pics. I’m having a hard time envisioning them in the drop down gun holder.

Would the pop up 28 hold full length lone wolf sticks in the meat hauling area without sticking up too high? I don’t want them above my head.

No..I have a single muddy pro that I put in the center of the pack in the meat hauling section. It does stick up about 4-5".

Anyone use the hornhunter G3 treestand pack?

Will it hold say 5 beast sticks far enough away so I wont need to get stitches in my elbows?
