What a rabbit hole. So I bought the mantis this winter and have been dialing in my system and enjoying it. When the Kestrel Flex opened up for ordering I ordered one the first day justifying the expense by telling myself that I would sell which ever saddle I liked less.... Flex showed up and now overall I like both of them and of course want to keep both. I will say there are some things that I like about each and some things I don’t like. Boy this is becoming an addiction quick. How many of y’all own more than one saddle? Is it necessary to own more than one?

I think you will find most here have multiples. As for me... one good ole SitDrag. Maybe someday I will add.

Started w/ sitdrag then kestrel. Sold both & bought a kite. Picked up a JX3, something would have to drastically change for me to get rid of either one....

Howd the surgery go?

Not to sidetrack this topic but I postpone my surgery till August 2, guys were not goin to get their vacation. they couldn’t go on vacation because of me I felt bad so I’m gonna stick it out another month.

I have multiples of camping hammocks, small watercraft and saddles. Yes ,I know I may have a problem.

My old lady just asked me how many i need before I am done! Not sure I will ever be done hahaha!

It's kinda like asking how many guns or bows a guy has. Most of us can figure out a way to justify multiples, I have 4.

I’ll be the outlier here. I own one saddle. I’ve only ever owned the one, and have no plans to add any more to the stable right now.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I have a system that works for me and I would be better served spending my time scouting and learning more about deer than fiddling with more gear.

I totally understand guys that own multiple. My safe would tell you that I don’t follow this “buy once” mentality to other parts of my hunting setup.

I have 4 all Trophyline, different models. I just sold my 5th one and I regretted immediately.
I have bought and sold another 10 lol

I have a Kestrel and JX3 Hybrid. That should have me covered until the next shiny new saddle product comes out. LOL

1 modified sitdrag
1 diy kestrel clone in the process of being sewn now. I should have it done by next weekend.

Being an at heart DIY guy this saddle hunting rabbit hole may be the death of me...I guess all things considered that’d be a good way to go IMHO
