Good job guys!

Having a chance to win this contest is seriously hampering my "before winter to do list" I just had to hang a trouble light in my boat bilge because it's supposed to get down to single digits tonight and I still haven't winterized my boat. I spent all weekend in a tree trying to upgrade my buck instead of catching up around the house.

I’ve been trying to upgrade mane as well. It’s probably not happening on my lease. I’ve literally got one buck there I would consider a shooter and he’s only showing up once a month or so on camera. May hit a piece of public next weekend. It’s a three day hunt and I couldn’t hunt it until the third day but I found a pretty heavy trail heading back to private after this same hunt last year. Maybe someone else will bump them and I’ll dump them.

That’s the spirit.

Congrats, awesome buck!

Team 8 with the late run!
We’ve been in the race since early on.
@matt6506 congrats on a fine buck.

Any of you guys yet to kill. I killed a spike last year on a state park hunt. Almost didn’t even enter it. Entered it anyway and wound up not killing another buck. My team won by two points.

I have yet to draw blood but you can bet I’ll be at it for as long as I can. I’ll have one more weekend of bow, then thinking I’ll grab a ML tag, then back into the drawn WMA In mid December.

Just checking in guys! I didn’t forget about y’all! I’m busting my butt trying to get us some points. Three days in a row all day sits. I set a goal for myself to finally harvest a mature buck and I’m not giving up yet. Still got a month to get it done!

Where the skys are so blue!
Yeah I recognized him before I shot him. I seen this buck probably 10 times last year when glassing but he always stayed on a neighboring property. He was a tall clean 8 last year with not much mass. I would say he put on probably 25 inches of junk and mass from last year.
Fine buck. Congrats!

I'm going to be a late bloomer this year most likely. Kinda like last year. We have a January rut.

I will be putting a 2nd doe on the board at some point, and probably a good buck from the SOA I got drawn for. It's just a matter of the time getting right.

Great buck matt!

I'm hoping to add us some more points here soon, almost time to thin the does and I still have one more buck tag burning a hole in my pocket.

Working from home, sitting at my kitchen table and watching a big 10 push does around the city property behind the house. Shot an email off to the city on the off chance they’d grant permission, but of course they did not.
