How bout a link for the ronstan pulleys. Or point me in the right direction, please
Excellent tutorial. Great explanation and description of what, how, and why.
So it took a little longer than anticipated to pull it together - too much going on lately. But it is available now. Free 4" x 4" EWO decal with first few purchases. Here you go.

DanO is going to have the whole kit with options on doublesteps.com in the very near future. His buying power and the ability to ship from one source should make it less expensive than trying to put everything together separately like I had to do as I was tinkering with different options. I had everything but the double pulleys already laying around, though. DanO emailed Ronstan and linked this thread. Their response from customer service was awesome. He shared the email with me. I learned a lot about friction and mechanical advantage.
For anyone on the fence due to price, this package is way cheaper than I paid for all the individual components, especially with shipping. So it took a little longer than anticipated to pull it together - too much going on lately. So here’s my question. I have this kit from EWO and used it on a dandy Michigan buck last Sunday. Only issue I had was I couldnt reach high enough to get the alien high enough to pull the bucks head off the ground it was still touching, made it tough to get the neck meat. I’m 6’0 Got any trick to help with that? Thanks!
I killed on about a mile back this year and at first I was like I’ll just grab those horns and pull him out. Ha! ha! I went about 15yards and decided that wasn’t going to work Lol. So, I decided that I would skin it on the spot and drag the meat out. Dropped off my gear, pickup my kill kit and sled and picked up a friend on the way back in so I didn’t need to use the hoist. Just threw my rap line over a limb and pulled him up. I pulled the meat out on a sled by myself. Man that was so much easier than either dragging the deer or carting (did that last year) him out. I’m sold on skinning in the woods now.I have one of these too and haven't used it yet either. I need to get on this and soon. So many situations where it would make skinning and packing out way better.

Ha! Ha! Yeah, there was two of us on that cart last year and it was a chore to get him out. Won’t do that again for sure.7 deer this year and only gutted one which was a big mistake lol I thought I’d cart him out and it was terrible.
