I am looking at getting some lighted nocks this year to replace my old ones from last year. I used glory nocks last year but was not happy with there performance. What are yalls recommendations on light nocks for arrows? Im Thinking about nockturnals or lumenock. what yall think? Thanks

ive been looking at those nocks actually, what didnt you like about them? i have lumenocks, but i dont care for the way you turn them off and on.

ive been contemplating just adding a dab of gun glo (the glow in the dark paint for gun sights) in the hole of the nock

Got tired of messing with them. Now just use a wrap of reflective tape on the last two inches of the shaft to the nock

I’ve used nocturnals and they work really nice. I feel like they made my arrows fly differently though but that was the last bow and before I knew more about tuning a bow.

I switched to lumenocks. I liked that you could change the battery if you needed to. They’re fine when they work. I think they’re very easy to just quit working on you. The one that I actually did change a battery for never worked again. I have a number of them left and some spare batteries. Once I eat through those I think I will be going back to nockturnals unless something better comes along. I also don’t like how you have to turn lumenocks off either. Nockturnals were nice, you just use a small nail file or screwdriver or something and just snap the little switch back off and that’s it.

I use Burt Coyote Lumenoks. They're the ones the turn on when the arrow is released from the string. To turn off you just pull the nock away from the shaft a tad. You can also change the battery

Honestly, the E-Arc ones below have worked great for me so far. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

SO much easier to turn off than a lumenock or nockturnal. Makes me really question why those companies won't consider a redesign. I mean, it's a switch man!

Understand that you're buying Chinese with these though.

Any noticable quality issues with them?

The only reason I hesitated in buying them were the reviews that said only 5 nocks out of the 6 pack worked. Eventually weighed the pros against th cons and thought I'd still be saving mucho dolores if I received a pack like that. Turns out, all 6 of mine workie-workie. Each of them shine bright enough that I can see them in broad daylight with the sun casting directly on a 3d deer. That's good to go for me.

For reference, I have the green ones.

Also, if you're reading this and you're a Nock Out person... I've got 4 of them for sale in the classifieds right now for $35.

Yes, they are more expensive up front, but the batteries are replaceable, they work, and you can get target lights AND you can get weighted inserts for your other arrows so all your arrows fly the same. Dorge at FireNock will treat you right.

Ebay nocks. Very similar to Nockturnals. Think I bought half a dozen for around $20. Cheap enough I can have one for about every arrow.

I get the cheap ones off Amazon with the switch too, cheap to practice with with no quality issues, fits tight. Hurts a lot less when you tag one with an arrow.

Just had a Lumenok break off in the shaft. I think I actually broke it trying to shove a .166 size nock into a .165 shaft. 1st shot broke off at the shaft. Trying to figure out how to get the piece and the battery out now.
