@always89y , look familiar?? Looks like they broke into your van & stole your prototypes. I guess at the end of the day, there’s only so much you can do with a saddle....... #gamechanger
That does look familiar! I'm glad someone ran with it, if that's the case. I considered the design a fail ( on mine). Couldnt make it comfy for me. The split seat was impossible to get right with the bridge set up and the bottom section was floppy when walking in. Also, for one sticking, it was difficult to sit and stand and sit and stand. Lots of adjustments, agian, on my version.

You had one last season?Curious how comfortable it was compared to the others

I did! I found it extremely comfortable. I ran a mantis before that, and sit drag before that. I found with The Method I had a ton of adjustability, and I actually used the top portion of the saddle as my back support. That eliminated the need for a back band.

Rip off the ole block, eh-erm, I mean chip off the ole block. Looks like a recon/Anderson/Sitdrag

I only kid. I’m of the opinion that there is more than one way to skin a cat; however, there is only so many ways you can skin a cat.

@bj139 this is essentially what I was talking about except using that wide ole yellow webbing you have.

It may happen, I've got an idea that could equal the same amount of comfort without going that route though- I'd emailed Tethrd about it a few weeks ago and never got a response, maybe @DanO or someone else (with talent for these things, which I don't have) would be interested in trying to piece it together

Like this one, I used the bridge as a belt. For me, that created a problem in the seat not staying in place when slack was introduced into the system during climbing. I'm eager to learn how the addressed that issue. I also found that leg loops on the bottom half that connect to the top half only served to pull the bottom down.
Cant wait to see an impartial review! Looks well made!

Where the skys are so blue!
Once @DanO gets those lineman’s belt mods for the BB I think you could have this set up at a significantly reduced price. It’s essentially a nice version of what @ImThere runs plus leg loops.
I am definitely ready for that to happen. A battle belt with reinforced loops is basically what I plan on hunting with this year.

Come on, @DanO!

I just got on the site and checked. Battle Belt is there, but the rated linemans belt to pair with it isn't listed anywhere, and is still being billed as "coming soon" on the battle belt page.

I like the belt I'm using, but I think the belt @DanO is offering would have some advantages. Plus, he's the only person from Michigan I want to spend money with.
