The back and forth on this thread is awesome. One of the best threads of all the forums I'm on.

I love it! I sold a 15-91 to Swamp. I use a 201-2. It's the same machine only "prettier". Some extra scrolling and fancy face plate but same machine.

Heres a little useless info ;
Model 99 sold for $99 / new
Model 15 sold for $ 199/ new
Model 201 sold for $ $299/ new...
And most thought Henry Ford started monthly payments ?!?!?
During the depression era , women made clothes for the family, if there were multiple kidds a sewing machine was a must and had to be financed by all but the rich who prob just bought most of thier clothing.
The 201 was considered a wealthy persons thread injector ... heard this tidbit from the salesman who sold me my 15-91....also have a 3/4 size featherweight for lightweight fabs.
WARNING: They become as addictive as saddles....

I have a 221 as well. Those featherweights are nice but not made for most of what I do.
Yeah the 15-91 is the "farmers wife's" version while the 201-2 is the "cadillac". But the same motor on both.

Oh great "as addictive" this was gonna be next months purchase to start working on some ideas i had. Lol Im gonna have to take out a loan to keep up with these addictions lol

I have had a thread injecting singer 66 sitting here for months. I have no clue how to use it. What is the best u tube instructional video. Thread injectors are more intimidating than a mig welder. I want to sew some stuff on my aero hunter

Try a search on Singer 66 set-up.
Once you get the spool threaded and the bobbin pulled up, run some scrap material, old t-shirt works good, and see how it goes.
They only seem intimidating at first. As far as sewing on your aero....might want to purchase a stitching awl and manually sew through the heavy material....the 66 probably isn't going to be able to handle the heavy material....

So true! At first I was very intimidated. I almost went to a sewing class at the craft store.

Type your model into YouTube and learn how to use it. After a couple hours you'll be fine. I like using mine now.

Got the new thread injector from Amazon yesterday. Shi!t's about to get real.

I know this is an old thread but I'm new here. How is that 4411 working out for you? I'm thinking of getting one.

I have the singer heavy duty 4411 and have been very happy with it. I’ve injected up to 3 layers of tubular webbing for aiders using a denim needle and she has powered through. No issues with it so far.
