I almost always hunt alone too. I have a little screw in camera mount that I put a iphone holder on that I keep with my kill kit so I can get a photo. I have forgetten it a few times and I'll just find a branch or perch my phone on my backpack with the camera timer.

I can't believe I'm gonna suggest this on a public forum. My wife has this thing called a selfie stick that cradles her phone and its telescopic. Just look for it on Amazon. If I talk about it anymore I'm sure to vomit.

No but those things are great for certain angles!!
 
To whomever is on my team this year. I apologize now.

I just found out today that I will miss a good portion of our season (including the rut) due to a short deployment.

However, our season runs through January so I should have time to get some points on the board.

I have three selfie sticks. I always lose one and then find it after I buy a replacement. .
