It’s incredible all the thought that went into this saddle. The comfort is superb. People are reintroducing stuff like they are new inventions when the EVO has already been doing it all.

Everybody wants an Evo... they just dont want to admit they want an Evo.

While they're at it, why don't they make pivoting steps for a ROS or an angled platform so that your not putting point pressure on your feet...

Treehopper does the rotating bike pedal steps for ROS.

OOAL has the angled Scout.

Get with the program man!

Must haves for leg and foot comfort.

think about why that is!

saddle gear is a classic case of “the customer is NOT always right”. Aerohunter was asked to make a hunting saddle. That make what appears to me to be a 90% perfect saddle. Then the status machine cranked up. Harder, deeper, lighter, faster, weight weight weight. Capitalists said “sure, well give you what you want. We’ll even convince you that you want it.”

now that the market is more saturated with unhappy single panel saddle owners, and everyone is selling them or complaining, they’re jumping on the two panel train.

I think you’re all crazy, especially when I’m dozing off in the hybrid

Million dollar idea? How about a bridge that wraps around the tree as a lineman's belt does but with an extra wrap at height (around the tree) to cinch to the tree? (Of some sort/in a safe way)

I think it's time to experiment again.. That would greatly reduce hip pinch and still allow movement around the tree. BUT, as you rotate, the far side would get eaten up, thus turning your body away from the tree as in a lean out shot. Pro's and con's to everything.

Definitely going to try it at ground height to see how it works, maybe even pump out a YT vid?

I’ve got an idea similar but basically a reverse bridge. Rope to Two fixed points on the tree, Through your bridge biner. Too many irons to prototype it

I've thought about just taking your LB and tether and attaching one to the lb loop and your tether to the other. Problem is you probably loose some to a lot of maneuverability

I agree, I personally am going to find a way to make this work for the hip pinch guys. Could be clutch for those all day rut sits too. Shouldn't be too hard to conjure something up! I have a longggg tether I could probably add a biner to and make a removable one.

I could see movement being an issue with a bow, but come gun season I could get a shot off in just about any position.

Yeah gun and xbow you can get away with more restrictions than with the long/recurve/compound bows

Checkout the treehopper pedals. They pivot, but require drilling into the tree to mount them. I like em a lot.

It's the saddle that brought me here . . . I have to say as a newbie saddle hunter it didn't really do it for me. There were so many adjustments that all interact I could never get the comfort dialed in. Now, after having so many other saddles I know what levers to pull to affect my comfort. It is definitely the most comfortable saddle I own. Unfortunately it's also the heaviest and bulkiest. Unfortunately, being a minimalist guy kind of relegates it to the storage bin.

Ahhh....yes the evolution. Sorry I’m not up with all the slang yet.

When do you think any manufacture will come out with a padded saddle? Sitting on webbing, mesh or canvas is not comfortable after an extended period of time. Think about it any chair seat or something that you have to sit on has cushioning on it. Why aren’t we putting cushioning in the saddles? Call me a baby.
