I'm at 13x original investment on MVIS as of today... was higher but it's taking a breather. I originally got 100 shares at 1.62, then 100 more at 1.84. Not a huge pile of money, but nice to see it turn into $4k.

Today was a fun day. Now sitting at about 500% return. Still holding.

I was just reading that MVIS is another reddit short squeeze attempt. I could care less, just hope I can time the jump off correctly!!

Ain't about reddit. MVIS is due to reveal a lidar prototype ahead of all competitors, and it's actively pursuing a buyout. They have a huge collection of patents and IP. They're the guts in a microsoft hololens, and the pentagon just placed a $21b contact for a military version. I don't even care about the earnings call info this week. Reddit is just about trying to squeeze shorts. I'm there for the buyout. Price target 90-135.

Just curious where that price target data came from?

There's a YouTube channel called Chartology that goes deep into chart histories and behaviors that has been pretty accurate on this stock over the past year. The PT comes from there, via price comparison to other lidar companies, # of shares in circulation, likely buyout valuation. It IS a big guess, but it's pretty reasoned. Warning, the guy sounds like a hype machine wrestling announcer. Still accurate.

I had 6 shares of MVIS at 10.99 avg, sold at the $30 this week. I'll load up on 100-200 shares when it is back down in the $11 range. I've recycled it over the past few months a couple times. I agree, MVIS isn't a short squeeze play.

I'm playing the AMC game right now, its a risk but the potential payoff is worth it. I have 1,000 shares between webull and fidelity :grimacing:. I'm young (33) and my investments have done alright so I'm ok with the risk.

I bought in a couple weeks ago. I doubt it will amount to much but I figure it's worth a shot to get in low and see what happens.

Exactly my thinking. Made about $100 in a week and musk is going on snl on the 8th so it’s expected to make a good jump again. I have some friends though that hit it big with it but they bought in long ago for cheap and got a lot.

I’ve done pretty well on doge for the past 3 months or so but it’s not a crypto I hodl. I buy and sell sometimes up to 20 times in a day. My problem with doge is it’s got no real reason to be around other than originally being a joke and now a bunch of celebs creating buzz about it. Just like safe moon and many others.
I do hold eth, Bitcoin, cardano and a few others as a long term...there are also talks of some etfs for cryptos.

I have moved about 50% of my “play money” into crypto I still hold a number of high yield divided stocks as well
I also currently mine crypto which is at this moment 100% eth...lots of fun ways to get in these markets
by play money I am referring to funds not managed in my ret
