Yeah it's only June. Just add some trash talking fun as some seasons start end of August I think. But need something to keep me motivated through summer to keep practicing shooting and climbing. I say Extra points to Who ever calls the total number of "did it start yet and how do I sign up posts"
I spent plenty of money again in the off season. So I am sure to probably down 0 deer this season.
I agree with the need motivation comment. I seem to get caught up in yard work and truck tinkering too much in the summer. I still have a ton of content to edit and get up on the channel that I haven't even touched. I finally have been starting to pound ground and sniff around my hunting spots. I like to get in early, set cams, sit back and collect pictures without having to go into the woods. Once the deer change patterns I go out and relocate cams.
I too, spent plenty of money this off season. New cams, video-camera, accessories, aiders, rappel setup, targets, bow tune (arrows, sights, etc.), camo, you name it. Now I need to make the time to practice with it all and get efficient for our September start. I'm only 13 weeks away from slingin' arrows, not too soon for me to start getting hyped. Also, bear baiting starts July 31st here and I can start shooting em August 30th this year so that puts me at 12 weeks until I am in a tree.
Let's just say
@boyne bowhunter ain't gettin' off so easy this year!
We trailed Team 5 decent last year, hopefully this year is a great competition as well. Congrats again to Team 5 for the 2020 season, and good luck to all this year. Stay safe and stack whitetails.
