I'm inviting @d_rek @Steve and @ADKMtnTrapper to Battle Creek, Michigan for a good ol' doe shoot. I'll set up the corn feeders, we'll get you each 2 does in a weekend. That should put team 4 in first place by a point :)

I haven't entered my buck yet!

I should be good for at least one more deer this year, just been super busy since I last got out. Was hoping to put a few hunts in this week and fill another tag. Worst case scenario i'll be out for opening day of firearms next wednesday, usually a guaranteed deer on opening day. But if you're serious I might take you up on your offer!

But you’re not counting @Prill87 new doe entry. One of you is going to have to shoot a buck.

Oh no.... I haven't shot my 27 point freak of nature swamp donkey yet... This isn't looking good.

Drek just entered his buck so three does for team 4 would make a tie. I’m hoping there’s another buck like this in Georgia to seal the deal. They say it has 32 scoreable points but my attention span is too short to count them.

I'm not done yet, I still have 12 more days in Ohio to hunt and a fist full of doe tags

Not that I could enter anything else into the competition, but I wish PA offered a fistful of doe tags! I feel like I’ve cheated myself out of tree time!

I don’t have any deer on the board yet, but won’t be passing does much longer. Our season in Texas goes until the end of December, and I can still hunt until Jan 15th in oklahoma. I’m not NEARLY out of this yet.

This contest is going to be close, but still a lot of hunting to do! Now time for me to work on that doe.

I like how everyone is excited to see how this is going to end... and then team 9 is going to pull a rabbit out of the hat and win the entire thing for a dramatic finish! I am hunting a longhorn spike this weekend to add 5 points to team 9!

I figured the the traditional guys were just waiting until they head in to town to pick up sugar salt and coal oil to post their pics. Sand bagging for the finale. I think anyone who takes a deer with traditional equipment (especially self bow) should feel like champions.

@team 8 - if anyone has a buck bigger than an 8 pointer that needs hunted outside of the state of PA, I’d be happy to upgrade my buck

Well, Saturday I swamped my hip boots and submerged my iPhone. Thought I had it working, but it gave up the ghost again today. So no pics from me today.

I was in a sit drag in the AM and my beloved Guidos Web in the afternoon. 20 minutes before legal shooting ended a doe splashed through he swamp (hey, that's no squirrel!), but no shot. Then 15 minutes later a buck came through and followed her trail (splashing too). He was 15 yards in front of me, but it was too dark to see if he had three on one side. Had to stay quiet after legal shooting until he vacated the area.

Well, tomorrow is work and a replacement iPhone, then Saturday I'll be back at the swamp all day with a Guidos Web.

Been passing up decent bucks and now it’s the last weekend of bow season and my college roommate is in town to hunt. This little guy came through did not want to pass him up. Below 30 degrees and really windy. First saddle deer. Went to the trophyline for this hunt and got it done tonight.
