What attachment system are you all planning to use with this?

I suspect that slack in the attachment method will make it prone to rotate and “hinge-over” like the Silent Approach steps from Bullman Outdoors were susceptible to do. So an attachment method that gets out the slack is going to be preferable. (OCB, ratchet strap, trucker’s hitch or tourniquet method). I’m going to start with an OCB webbing strap from Eastern Woods Outdoors. If that works well, I probably won’t try anything else.

When the strap is tight, it grips really well and even though its smaller than my cf platform it really is light and easy to carry and if there were 2 i think that be just as comfortable as my big platform.

I don’t get any flex at all on the prototype version. I am 5’9” and 175 pounds so a vast difference in comparison to that guy. He’s a very large human! Haha. IMO it’s very comfortable, light weight and I have confidence in it at my size so it will be my main platform this year

Yea for the smaller guys looks like a light option. My weight fluxuates about 40 pounds during hunting season, but as a big guy I would steer away from that. Will stick with my metal platforms.

Would like to see it tested in freezing Temps. I'm interested but with that much flex, I'll need to see some more reviews before pulling the trigger. I'd use it in conjunction with my ultimate platform from EWO to get around the tree for that weak side shot.

If anyone on this thread wants to see something specific I’d be happy to make a personal video for you and send it via email. I know for sure @Stykbow1 would do the same for you bigger fellas. He is in the 235-240 pound range and could give you insight for a heavier guy.

I would be wearing it around my knee with the first step by the looks of that video.

They are strong. Despite the flex....they've been tested at 800 lbs without bereaking.....they've been tested all last winter in minus degrees up here in Northern MN.

I do wish and hope he makes a larger one that extends further out for larger footed creatures and bigger boned fellas.

I concur that despite not breaking, for a larger person the flex is an uncomfortable movement.

Seems easy enough to make a light and heavy duty version...Hd version beef up the structure...obviously there gonna be a weight difference. After the holidays I gonna buy 1 to compare against my tree sack. They got me beat in carry weight and bulk.
