Do it all pack. 1000D Cordura sling attached the Molle Frame with 6 compression straps. Can pack in sticks, platform, pack, feed, meat, etc. Handles 50lb of feed with ease.

I bought 3 yards of the 500D multicam cordura for my Saddle project. I've already come up with lots of uses for it. This is a nice copy of the LL Bean Hunter's Carryall pack or the Mystery Ranch setup.

I think these are great! I have all the shoulder and waist pads that I bought for my hang on just sitting in my garage. I have been meaning to get a frame.

So do you unload everything and leave the frame at the base of your tree during the hunt...?
Looks like a great way to transport everything, but isn't it almost as bulky and noisy as a conventional hang on treestand....?

I’m also wondering about the noise. I put a molle frame, shoulder straps and waist belt on my summit climber 7-8 years ago. It really made carrying it more comfortable but I couldn’t stand the noise and creaking it made with every step. I couldn’t get rid of this noise, I even put foam between the stand and the frame thinking that would help but found it was the webbing of the straps and belt contacting/rubbing the frame that was making the noise-especially in cold weather. I installed paracord, tape, and a host of other things to no avail. Maybe carrying less weight with a saddle setup would decrease the noise.

I would think how the frame contours your back and holds everything close it would be better than hanging sticks from a pack putting the weight farther from your body.

@Rod Johnson @FUSE Are you noticing any
noise with the frame?

Looks good! I have been saying all year I was going to make a set of covers for those brackets but never did lol. Those bad boys are SHARP!

@Redfeather @Chistavocat I havent noticed any noise. I have left it at the base of the tree. I have also left it in the woods on the walk in, further from hunting location.

Maybe the noise was due to the amount of weight I had on it and the fact that the weight seemed to be pulling away from the frame.

Could be, the compression straps are a must. Keeps weight tight to back and keeps noise down.

I really like this. Would you post some pics of nothing in the pack? Would like a better pic of what the full sling looks like and all the attachment points to the frame. I'm thinking this may be my next cold weather project.

Thanks! Awesome DIY!
