Been hangin out here on this site for about a month. I have been learning a lot, BUT now I have a huge problem..... Over the course of the last few weeks I have developed some type of infection. I haven't been to the doctor yet but it does not seem to be getting any better. I can not seem to shake this " obsession " to get back in a tree and hang!! I really do not have any type of illness but I am consumed by this whole saddle thing. I have read the first 10 pages of forum topics in every category. I have hunted out of stands for close to 30 plus years. Never had much problem with them. I was also a little skeptical of having a tree in my face.
I am a fireman in NE Arkansas and proficient with ropes and rigging. I had most of the gear and after coming across the YouTuber DIYSPORTSMAN I decided I had to try. I recieved a sit drag from my wife for xmas and practiced with it once in the back yard in the dark Christmas night and hunted the next morning. My 4 hour sit was a learning curve for sure but I saw enough to know this was gonna be the beginning of a beautiful relationship. I am a DIYer and have began several projects. Look forward to learning more. Thanks for an awesome site.

I love having more DIY guys around! Another to feed off. Get everyone together and start cranking out the patents.
