Own about a dozen. Only four are out now. I am less and less motivated to use them every year. Just don't get much valuable intel from them, and once you've seen a million deer pictures, the million and oneth loses its lustre.
The primary way I use them is to check big woods rut spots I am iffy about. Most of these are areas I think bucks probably travel through, and don't leave much of any discernable sign so cameras save some time prospecting. Get them out sometime before November, let them soak until rifle season, and see what I have to work with for next year.
