Hey guys
I started looking at this site last year and it's awesome (except it seems to keep my wallet thin. ) I've been saddle hunting for three years now and hunting in NH since I was 16 and worked several years in the hunting industry. According to my wife i dont think about anything but hunting for more than an hour a week.
Between new kids, work and hunting as much as I could I haven't posted much but the cold winter months have given me time and I love to spend this time of year prepping for next season. I appreciate all that you guys post on here and it's a huge help. I'm a tree climbing geek and love seeing ideas on here to try. Look forward to reading more and sharing info.

That was my first elk last year. I lost my father in the beginning of the year and he was the person who brought me into the world of hunting and fly fishing. We never made it out west like we were going to so last year I made it out for him and shot that 6x6. It was an amazing hunt and a totally different experience to the whitetail I'm used to, it is like hunting a giant turkey like they say and the meat is phenomenal. Needless to say I will be going back out this year, it got me pretty hooked and the DIY opportunities in Colorado are awesome.
