How’s the best way to attach lineman belt loops to rch

I ended up with a mad rock galaxy rch. I haven’t received it yet but I don’t think this one has load bearing loops on it. How would be the best way to attach lineman’s loops to it? I did a search but didn’t come up with a whole lot. Would it be acceptable to attach 18mm nylon runners on the outside of each leg strap using a single girth hitch? Any other suggestions? I would like to go with the safest practical way for this setup. If a different rch would be better I could go that way too.

Would find someone to sew one around the waist similar to an Erniepower linesman belt.
Bowhunter15 has how to do it on his YouTube DIY sportsman channel also.

Good to know I will look that up, thanks!

are you using a sitdrag?

sew the half-belt to keep sit drag up on your waist and then use the sitdrag ears as you linemans belt loops. When you think about a lineman belt fall your swinging into the tree.....your junk is probably going to take more of the punishment than the linemans belt/saddle.

I just don't think theres any of those "force multipliers" to consider in a linemans belt fall, that you deal with in a vertical fall

Its what I use anyways....ive never fallen into a sitdrag/lineman rope, but its been plenty secure leaning into it

Yes I am using a sit drag and already have the belt sewn in, that might be my best option for now.

I ordered a simple length of nylon form strapworks had them sew in two loops. Then I sewed this to my RCH.

Probably not the best pic but I took one of the extra pieces of webbing that came with the sitdrag and I sewed it the harness. The webbing goes all the way around my back, so it is one continuous piece. My harness has a loop in the back that I put the webbing through. I only sewed it on the ends, three rows of sewing on each side. It is very strong.

I like the fact that my lineman's belt is not hooked to my sitdrag. It allows me to fiddle with the sitdrage and get it just right before I release my weight onto it.

Is that a soft shackle you are using?

Ok. Be careful. I haven't used one, but the general consensus around here has been soft shackles aren't the safest options.
Appreciate the heads up. I have two of them on there now because I am using a whoopie as a secondary lineman's belt. I have both soft shackles going through each lineman's. Pete
