    Can't trust coyotes

Thanks man, yes learned a lot from that one, how she reacted after being shot was new for me, as she some what returned to the spot, wouldn’t thought that would have happened, agreed I should definitely make a bleat or something to get them to pause. Appreciate the advice!!

    Can't trust coyotes

Honestly in the end I think it was going to be a no win situation, either bump the deer adrenaline kicks in and now instead of just a few hundred yards you could be looking at a solid 400 meters to over a mile, with no trail to follow there is not much to do, if it had a trail I would have...

    Can't trust coyotes

Now unfortunately on Monday I was out hunting this public property I...

    Hunting Incident

Gotta agree with this, it's pretty basic if you hunt public guess who you will deal with, Hunting public land gotta deal with the public, like others I have had some experiences but none of them this bad, however I am not ruling out the possibility in the future, price you pay for hunting public.

    Crossbow recommendation?

As others have said also, centerpoint is awesome, using it now for last 3 years, no issues for me, and groups was really tight at 30 yards, would normally have to aim at a different point or I would need to buy some new arrows/bolts.

    Windy day scouting

I was just out yesterday 15 mph constant with lots of gusts over 20+, so I also used it as a scouting day, the good news is you won't get heard by the deer, so yes absolutely I would scout or even find a nice spot sit and wait, I hunt on the ground anyway, wasn't till the very last hour of light...

    New Guy from Kansas

Thanks everyone, learning a lot already from the search options, nice to see some other vets out there. Never even knew about this until now which is funny because I had to do some rope climbing before in some training that involved some of the same equipment, but I am sure a saddle is way more...

    New Guy from Kansas

Hello all, Purchased a tactisaddle, and now looking into everything else, simple issue is like many others I hunt public land and most trees on the eastern kansas side don't agree with the climbing stands so I would like a easier mobile possibility which landed me to here, will continue to do...
