How many times did you punch yourself

The SH should not be firing early. It’s either set way too light or something is wrong. I don’t love SH releases but they make quality stuff that is meant to take some abuse.

How many times did you punch yourself

I almost knocked myself out once with a button. The sear broke about 3/4 into my draw.

Long Distance Archery or TAC Practice

TAC is fun and should be taken as fun. Shoot what you’re comfortable with distance and equipment. I haven’t done much long range but hopefully the weather gets better before my bear hunt so I can stretch out a bit.

    Whats your preferred tuning method?

I didn’t mention it before but I do all my tuning over time. I never do all this in one day. Again, it’s a process and can take several weeks for me to get the right flight. I just spent yesterday getting windage dialed in. Shooting at 80 until I had acceptable hits. It took a while but I’m...

    Whats your preferred tuning method?

Tuning is an overall look to me. I’m not that good or better than most. I look at the end result more than a single perfect ingredient. I’m blessed to be able to shoot every day and accept the good, the bad and the process. My bare shaft may not be perfect at the end but my bow shoots. It...

    Whats your preferred tuning method?

Bare shaft out to 40. Paper tune and end with broadheads. I use big fixed blades or heads that are notoriously hard to tune. I will shoot the broadheads out to 80 yards trying to see the imperfections. When broadheads group and hit with fieldpoints I’m done.

    Not a Gun Guy…

It’s all in with the e file. That shop seems to get their stuff back super fast. My buddy had two approved in three days. A few years ago I had two approved in four months when it was going a year other places.

    Not a Gun Guy…

So my plan was to wait on the suppressor and shoot the break for a while. Stepped inside Mile High Shooting Supply and What In The Name of Snoopy!!!! Demo models on sale… TBAC Ultra 5 for $300 off. Well, I’m in the waiting process. My buddy picked up a Huntwurx .22 for $265. This one hurts.
