    That video shows use of a CLAM cleat... not what we would consider a traditional cam cleat (Harken/Schafer), but the risk is always there.

    I've never had a true beast stick with their double steps, but I think so.

    If you already have the beast stick your most cost effective option is to purchase the bat or raptor and add. You won't necessarily have to modify anything. Its a great design that grips the tree well and the built in slots for the aider work well. You may want to add tape or file down the edges...
