I CAN’T KEEP MY FEET WARM

Move to south Louisiana. We are still getting in the 70's and the occasional 80+. Cold feet not a problem

Ropeman 2 better to have than ropeman 1?

The ropeman 2 works fine. If some one is willing to sell you there's for $20 I would try them out. Been using mine since 2017 on the same rope on lineman's and tether. Tree bark does as much damage. They are also less likely to strip the sheath off the rope in a fall.

    Bowline knots suck.

I don't think it has much application for what we do, but it's great for rigging or applications where it needs to be untied. It was pretty standard when I worked offshore.

Worst invasive species in North America

They just get everywhere you could sweep up dustpan after dustpan full every day. I've seen them this year but not like last. They were a pain for sure

Worst invasive species in North America

I've seen less fire ants since the crazy ants showed up. They don't bite, but are still a pain. Had piles of dead crazy ants around the house last year. Not as many this year.

Kong duck or rope man 2?

I use a ropeman 2. Some do not like the teeth. Never been a problem for me. I have not found them excessively hard on rope, or at least worse than rough bark trees.

    Dryad Saddles

The single point LB is going to act more like a tether in a fall. Way less likely to slide as far down the tree in comparison to a traditional LB system. Kickouts happen quick. Glad your buddies injuries were minor, and your system keep him safe.

    Long live the beard

Very nice. I hope he kills a giant from it.

    Dryad Saddles

To be honest with you some guys may like your way better but I guarantee you there will be some guys who definitely won't. I would offer the traditional-style lineman loops. Honestly for me it wouldn't be a deal-breaker for me but I would have to consider a secondary lineman's belt or modifying...

    Overwatch Outdoors saddle

Transformer is the bee's knees. @JCLINE84 is as good a dude to do business with as I have come across(for those wanting to add the leg straps). If I didn't have mine I would have scooped this already.

    Dryad Saddles

That's no good for me. It reminds me of a modified Anderson I acquired from @Vtbow. Everything connected front and center was much more frustrating to advance up a tree. The larger the tree got the more frustrating it became. Now I use a separate lineman's belt purchased from @DanO, swing my...

    New saddle I hadn’t seen...

I'd like to see a video of him at hunting height on a ring of steps or platform hooked to a lineman's belt packing and unpacking the hammock into the pouch and see how easily that was accomplished. Seems like it'd be more difficult than standing on the ground. It does look extremely comfortable.
