    Help building a 2 in 1 lanyard.

    I'm quite sure that is a Knut knot. I use that knot on both my climbing line and my linesman. It does slip very easily and yet grabs really well when you need it. It's easy to put a mini-carabiner or other slide to make the line self tending. No need to use two hands to adjust the line.
