    That looks pretty comfy, I'm more worried about my out layer getting destroyed by bark, which is why my knee pads go on the outside of whatever I'm wearing. If you are wearing any rain gear or pricey stuff, it'll be worth the extra padding.

    Another vote for tying the end of your tether to your harness, mine stays there the entire time, but I often climb w/ an XOP hand climber and not with a lineman belt.
