Why are there not more plastic sticks and platforms?

I think someone needs to start experimenting with steel and plastic/wood laminates to compete with the cost of waterjet aluminum. Internet was down at work the last day and a half so spend some time tinkering in CAD and drew up a stand to my ideal size. Checked the price on a .5" thick sheet of...

    Let's talk custom bowstrings

Personally make my own now, but if I had to go commercial I would look at twisted x or mad goat custom strings

Packing in and out , simplicity is key..

I think the most important thing to keep mobile setups efficient is having a good routine and sticking to it. Below is my routine 1. Find tree 2. Hook pullup rope to bow and set it out of the way. 3. Pull bolt roll with drill from elastic side pouch and drill first three holes. Hang bolt roll...

Lil Ambush review - Stand / Platform hybrid

Sorry for the late reply, switched to an EDP for most of my hunts. But I did take the stand out this last week and ended up tweaking it some afterwards. First there is nothing good to say about the straps and buckles the stand comes with. So I drilled through the seat bracket and added a bolt to...

    New Aerohunter saddle?

I used a cam buckle strap with stiffer webbing for a linemans belt for quite a while and never had any problems with it. Assuming the webbing they used is stiff enough it will work just fine and flip just as easy as rope.

G hooks for packs and bags

I saw those, and may end up with them in the long run. But $20 + shipping is steep for 4 buckles.

G hooks for packs and bags

Anyone tried these out before? https://www.etsy.com/shop/MozetDesigns?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=1092356899 Ordered a couple of the wire gate versions to use on my bag, hoping they wont be loud when you flip the gate open. I love the silence of G hooks, but the cheapo chinese ones...

Is the High FOC IDEA good or bad for the hunting community?

I have a sneaking suspicion that most of the people who follow the "throw more point weight at it" theory, just finally end up sending an arrow slow enough that it doesn't generate enough drag to plane off. I setup a recurve this year and it dang sure doesn't shoot clean holes in paper but an...

    Internal Frame Bag

Thank you, but trust me there are some mistakes and ugly spots to be found if you look closely lol. Was really pushing the limitations of my presser foot height in some spots. The hardest part is the planning and layout, the actual seams are pretty simple.

"The official saddle hunting backpack thread"

My latest creation fits my gear selection perfectly. Gears are already spinning for an ultralight version for next year, if its going to stay in the 80's into October I've got to adapt.

    Internal Frame Bag

It's alive! Wheel's are already spinnin on making the next version, but this should function really well. Load feels secure and carries pretty comfortable with my stand and camera gear. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
