    Trad bow

As a rule of thumb (never exact but usually close), you will gain 2.5# to 3# in draw weight for every inch above or below the marked draw weight. Example: the bow is marked 50# @ 28" If you draw 31", you would be pulling about 57.5# to 59#. Do keep in mind that the longer you draw, the...

    First buck with recurve

I also sold my compound and now just shoot a longbow! I love it.

    First Hunt from Saddle

Yes. It is clipped to the rock climbing harness just in case... and it keep the tag end feom flipping around.

    2017 Deer Contest Discussion

This was a lot of fun. I did not get to hunt as much as I wanted but still got out there and enjoyed every minute. If we scored this contest like golf (the lower the points the better) team 9 is the winner! Go Team!

    Set up video by @boudreaux

That makes me look like a turtle! I take about 12 minutes to climb a fresh tree and get setup. It is a little slower setting up the Stepp ladders as well with my setup. Very impressive.

How I use the Wild Edge Stepps

Very similar to the Wild Edge system for safety rope. Just make sure that the step you clip directly to is horizontal or slightly above the clipping point. Otherwise you will lift the step and it will not be cammed over.

    2017 Deer Contest Discussion

I agree that the contest is not over. I am headed out this weekend for a Sunday morning hunt as we have family gatherings the rest of the weekend. I hope to get a 1x2 (3 pointer) on the ground to count as my doe. Either that or a 10 pointer my cousin saw the other day and upgrade my buck. To...

    Wild edge steppladder?

Like they said above. I went with 6' length and 90% of the time, I am glad. I would call and see if you could get 3 in the 8' lengthy and keep those at the top of the bag so they go on first. (If you are hunting a small tree, you can skip them. I typically use 7 stepps with the aider.) There...

Safari Tuff Dukier Back Quiver with Storm Cover

Also willing to trade for a platform. I have never tried one but would like to try one out.

Safari Tuff Dukier Back Quiver with Storm Cover

As the title reads, I have a safari tuff back quiver for sale. It has the pouch on the side for necessities and a storm cover on top to keep the rain out. I would rate it a 9 out of 10 as broadhead have been in the quiver (as intended) and the foam shows where they were inserted. Let me know if...
