    Gear hoist

I use a Doyles gear hoist for my bow or gun and love that it auto retracts as I pull it up. I also have a loop on the end of my rappel rope I use to bring my backpack up. You can get as fancy as you want or as simple, I used paracord the first couple years but was sick of all the tangling with...

    Michigan SH public land challenge.

Will have to see how my work schedule plays out, but interested.

Favorite one stick setup and rappelling device?

Eastern Woods Outdoors will hook you up with a complete kit. Also there are many threads on different setups and what people like. Like you said everyone has their own thoughts on what works best for them, you just need to find what works best for you. I use the Safeguard and EWO Onestick 15"...

How many times did you punch yourself

I have been using the Stans Onnex clicker and love it. Now it is my first thumb release so I have nothing to compare it to, so take it for what its worth. It has great adjustability and feels good in the hand.

How many times did you punch yourself

So far I have been lucky not punching myself in the face with my thumb release (Not that I don't think about it every time I pull back LOL). I just started using one last September and have fallen in love with it. They do take some tuning and adjusting to get them setup to your hand and finger...

    Range Finder

Usually on the right side of the tree, mainly because I'm a right-hand shooter and can have my left hand holding my bow and the other ranging.

Favorite Hunting Clothing Brand (where you like the camo pattern)

I have had great success with Sitka Subalpine especially with early Fall when the leaves are still green through the color change. The Elevated 2 I'm still testing out but have killed deer with it, and they didn't seem to be able to see me.

Not meaning to open a can of worms - cross loading carabiners

I had found his videos a while back and went down an entire Saturday rabbit hole watching them lol. He has a lot of good videos

    Rappelling kits

Eastern Woods Outdoors is where I have spent the last mortgage payment lol. They make it too easy to just keep adding to the cart. There kits are very nice and customizable with many options to choose from.

    Bow sight?

SH Fast Eddie 2 pin here. Love the sight, been through some thick tough spots banging it on branches and fence posts and still dead on. Can't go wrong with any of the suggestions in the previous posts. The only possible downside with the SH is the weight, but it also allowed me to remove my...

    Question for the matthews folks.

I agree with @Camelclutch and bring your bow to the shop and shoot them side by side. I would also try all the flagship bows while you are there and see if any of them fit your style better than the Mathew’s. I know some are stuck on a brand, me included when I was a Hoyt fanboy but after trying...

    Experience with EZ Fletch Mini-Max?

Love mine and will probably end up selling my Bitz.

    Hobby room/Archery shop build.

Looks fantastic! I think my wife would even allow something like this in our house LOL. Love the wood look.
