    North of Duluth I started going to custom archery in superior wi is a Mathews dealer they set up my last hoyt I bought also very knowledgeable staff and berry willing to help out one day I’ll get brave and try and set up my own but not on a 1300 dollar bow

    Yes in Minnesota they have brand specific dealers I have been going to the same Hoyt shop for the last 20 years and he finally retired so went to a new Hoyt dealer and they are **** was asking him questions and he said he dose not know how to do paper tune or set 3rd axis

    I shoot a lot of targets out to 120 yards and have taken game out to 90 so like the adjustable Just not sure if I will like only having one pin vs 3 I set my sight up as 30 40 50 slide never found much use for a 20 yard pin

    That was the only reason I switched I thought if they have to set the bow up for me anyway I should just buy from them went with the v3 27 love it so far I have been shooting hoyt for 20 years and don’t feel a bit bad about switching to Mathews because they can provide pro shops that know they stuff

    Trail cameras on public land. what's your take

    I put mine at least 1 stick height probably about 10-12 feet I leave mine out 365 days a year never had problems have many pictures of people walking back and forth under them never seeing them I use the hme camera arms to attach them to the trees I’m in northern mn

    He shoots the Hoyt powermax 25.5” draw 60lb Easton bloodline 400 spine drop away rest paper tuned slick trick fixed blades bare shaft tuned he has not shot a deer yet but he nervous according to the Easton chart his arrows are over spined the chart says he should be shooting a 540 spine

    My buddy got his first bow last year he has a 25.5” draw and shoots 60 pounds what is everyone using for arrows and what Do they weigh he is having issues with penetration shooting 100gr his arrows are about 400gr would switching to 125gr heads make a difference
