    SOG Opord Tactical Day Pack (39L) - $20 + s/h

I agree. This is my go to pack when I’m close to the truck (not packing meat out) or on small private parcels

    2024 Turkey Thread

Was out for the PA season opener Saturday. I was on some private conservancy-owned land which offers some limited public hunting. Birds in my county are spotty at best, and often in little pockets surrounded by private. I have had success finding birds at this one conservancy in the past but...

I haven’t noticed a big difference between flasks. I use an Amazon special and it’s comparable to name brands

    2024 Off-Season Getting/Staying In Shape Motivation Thread

I do a fair bit of trail running these days, and I use a Solomon race vest with two soft flasks. It carries well and doesn’t bounce much but can get hot after a while. I have the hip belts too but they seem to bounce too much and I end up losing bottles from the holsters. For a middle distance...

    Hollow brand alpaca socks?

The socks seem great so far. My boot socks also smelled fairly strongly of men's cologne

Fess up, who hasn't shot their bow since last season ended?

Guilty…… take solace in that you’re not alone. Only so much time… I focus on the kids and housework in the off-season. Hoping to chase a bird or two in May. I’ll start shooting again mid-summer

    2024 Sheds and Deads

My son found his first shed today. A good one lol. He was stoked! Kept him engaged by tossing his football around while in open areas. Not sure why my photos are always rotated from my phone

    Apache Gun Cases

I have one and it's held up well for normal use, but not sure if I'd fly with it the way they toss stuff around and drop stuff off the elevators

    2tc vs one sticking

For me, I'm not a ROS guy, so I'm usually 1-sticking if I'm out covering ground doing a scout and hunt type hunt. The main reason is I hunt off the scout platform on the stick. Add a couple squirrel steps to get around the tree some, and I'm golden. Just less to set up. I'll already be standing...

Same. I've considered making my own with concrete ( https://rockweights.com/) but worry about the handles breaking or them chipping and dusting everywhere. Plus they would probably be huge to get a heavy enough weight. probably just keep an eye out at local auctions or FB marketplace

    2024 Off-Season Getting/Staying In Shape Motivation Thread

I agree Dutch, I have done lots of events from 5K to marathon, sprint triathlon to Ironman, and the key is consistency and volume over time. Research also supports that 80% of the our training be done at lower intensities (the 80/20 rule as you have mentioned before). For those new to...

    2024 Gear thread

Looks compact and innovative for sure. My concern would be climbing and hanging the rails without them banging something or weighing down my saddle
