    Rope Knots

Here’s a very good app that will help you out a lot. It’s called Knots 3D! It’s a knot tying app with information on more than 175 knots. https://apps.apple.com/app/knots-3d/id453571750

I love my Black Widow, but ....

I had 6 pounds taken off my 1997 Widow last year and had them refinish the whole bow, and they did a fantastic job.

Hot meal while in the Saddle

Thinking about it, it would be pretty easy to stand on the lower platform on my OOAL Big Bob and cook off the top platform with the jet boil… (Still doubt I’d do, but it’s an option)

    Strike plate and arrow rest

That’s kind of what I was thinking. On my one stick it’s been super tough.

    OOAL Big B.O.B.?

I wrap paracord once around the stick in between the jaws of the cam cleat. It will still hold the amsteel but won’t let the jaws pivot into a lock position. I don’t tie the paracord, but rather hook it with a small zip tie. Snip the zip tie’s tag end as close as you can get so that it won’t...

    OOAL Big B.O.B.?

i moved the rope between the mounting nuts and the pull-up wire. When I go to put the wire down I just make sure that I do it before I cinch it down to the tree on my last move. You have to watch those teeth on the stand off’s. If you’re not careful they’ll cut you or your pack. I get worried...

    Strike plate and arrow rest

Anybody, besides me, ever consider (or use) stealth strips for a strike plate and arrow rest? The thickness seems to be real similar to seal skin, and it’s slick and durable. I haven’t tried it yet, but my longbow’s gonna need a new strike plate soon.

    First sit...TEST

All I can say is relax and enjoy it. It’s much safer than sitting on a platform. If you start rappelling down you’ll see it’s the safest way to come down the tree too. Rappel down to a stick and take it off then go to the next, if your not one-sticking that is. .

    Just a swing'n

I’ll trade the swinging for sitting on a hang on anytime…
