    Sitters

I bought an XOP seat pad. I take a large bungie loop it through the eyelets of the pad the around the tree then make it tight to itself at knee height. it works perfect doesn't make any noise and its easy to pack in and out each sit.

    How long is your tether?

Wow thats a lot of tether. My rope tether is 6-7' I wrap it around the tree and then through its own loop for a secure fit. I mainly hunt trees that are about 8-12" round.

    Buck down!

It's not always about being in the saddle it's about the time spent in the woods, and the harvest is a major bonus. Congrats

    Rain Suit for Hunting

An old pair of sock neoprene waders that have a small dry rot hole in the crotch, with a goretex coat and camo over the top of that. I stay warm from the wind and rain.

Scent Loc will kill you in Texas early season!

OK mini lesson from the guy that teaches health/PE. Their are three major warm zones on your body: armpits, back of the knees and the groin. By limiting the clothing in those locations it will help you stay cooler. Also if you take the time to get into shape at the start of spring all the way...

Scent Loc will kill you in Texas early season!

Do as I do here in MI when the season opens GO NAKED under your scent blocker clothing. No t-shirt no pants or shorts just light weight underroos or none if your me!. You have clothing on so they can't get you for indecent exposure.

    Modification to lone wolf sticks.

I am looking to make the modification to my lone wolf sticks switching from their straps to a rope style method. I want to make the switch for more of a stealth noise free set up. What is the best rope for this method, over all length and diameter?

Awesome idea but can't get it to work. I would like to be added in two spots because I just moved the upper peninsula of Michigan. I am from Northern MI though.

    Trees & Knees

Flinginairos I got the idea from you but made my on mods to it. It works well to have the big bungie to assist with different tree setups as well as making sure it stays in place with no noises.

    Chest harness?

Nope I use a simple small carabiner to hold the shoulder straps closer together. Piece of mind for me seeing as I am not a big guy.
