Still Kicking

I have been a bowhunter since 1965 and have employed many of the Saddle hunter options over the years. I have completed many rope rescue, high angle rescue, and Emergency Rescue Technician courses which increase my interest in using ropes for tree stand hunting. Recently I have ordered a Kestrel Saddle and have been building my platform. I am also a fan of Hawk climbing sticks so already have 4 of the 30" and 4 of the 20". Currently also building a modified Allen backpack to hopefully carry my equipment quietly. Since I am nearing 72 years on this planet I am slower and much more safety minded. My platform will weigh a few ounces more but should support a small elephant and that is hoe I consider things these days. I've rendered medical aid to more than one Tree stand or hunting accident over the years and do not plan on being another one. :blush:
