Smallest Gear with the Biggest Impact

Initial investment was a bit, but my rangefinder has to be the best bang for the buck. It helps me realize sometimes im good a guessing the range.....sometimes not so much.

    EWO Kneepads

I have some of the Arc'teryx knee pads that those are designed after and i love them. Ill defiantly grab a pair of the EWO for when they wear out. Much better price point and the EWO crew are good folks

    wildest wildlife encounter while saddlehunting?

I got to see what i can only describe as a chipmunk gang fight...setting in a tree i hear all kinds of chirping and leaves rattling. 9 or 10 chipmunks come busting out of the woods into a small rocky clearing. As many or more busted in from the other side. 30 seconds of angry chirping leaves...

    Climbing, Pack On or Off?

I do both, late season when my pack is heavy or if it's difficult tree I may climb without my pack. I have a Doyle's gear hoist that lives in a side pouch of my pack. If I climb with it, I just hook my bow to the hoist. If I decide to climb without it, I hook the Doyle's to my bow and take...

Compound bow hoisting/lowering hook up position

I put mine back in its sling, wrap the rope towards the bottom end so it keeps the bow upside down on the way down. That way it keeps the nock s up and the wheel protected buy the sling. If that makes sense.

One of two weekends I can hunt Saturday AND Sunday this year. Windy tomorrow, should I hunt?

Ill hunt in a light rain, but im paranoid about the thought of trying to blood trail in or after a heavy rain. Might not be justified, might just be me overthinking things.
