    2024 Off-Season Getting/Staying In Shape Motivation Thread

Been awhile since I posted here. Im keeping up with the 50-60 running miles a month. Which isn’t a ton for some but last year I ran 125 miles for the entire year and I’ve now already passed that. I ran a half marathon (for fun) under 2 hours in February. I also bought an actual pair of running...

    Question for the matthews folks.

I’m running a Mathews 7z extreme currently. I’ve shot every new Mathews bow since the creed came out. Owned a creed too. I liked the no cam. I have not personally liked any other bow until I shot the lift. The only reason I have not upgraded is because I don’t want to spend that much. The 7zX is...

    Saddle climber, what's available??

It doesn’t sound like you’re going to go the summit route, but if you do, try a hazemore silent seat. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and takes away some of the bulk (as much as you can with a summit lol).

Post-Season “Won’t make that mistake again” Thread 2023-24

Unfortunately this is not the first “click” I’ve had deer or small game hunting. First with a crossbow though lol

Post-Season “Won’t make that mistake again” Thread 2023-24

I’ve used a compound for several years. This year I tried a crossbow for a multitude of reasons. The main two was I wanted to see how “easy” it is. And I wanted to see what a crossbow could do since my kids are almost old enough to use it. I hated using the crossbow. Just to bulky, and hated...

    Ground blind chair…whatcha got?

This past turkey season I bought an ameristep ground blind chair. It’s an all in one unit. They have a one person and two person, I bought the 2 person. The two person is big enough for an adult and child. I used it this past fall too. I honestly love it. My only complaint is the noisy carrying...

    2024 Off-Season Getting/Staying In Shape Motivation Thread

The cold plunge / ice bath thing is very intriguing. The last two days I’ve taken my normal shower and at the end made the water as cold as I can to still have water pressure. Then got under it for a timed 3 minutes. I swear that you will really notice the difference. It sucks, but it’s worth...

    Summit Viper SD Valuation

I bought a well used viper from a buddy this fall for $50. The metal on it was fine, the paint was fine. It needed new cables, new seat, and arms pads to make it basically factory. I actually took it a step further. I went crazy on the mods and loved getting re-acquainted with a climber this fall.

    2024 Gear thread

I loved using my current viper sd for gun season. I may just cut the front bar off myself. Maybe even modify it as a shooting rail like they did. Maybe XOP won’t let me down lol.

    2024 Off-Season Getting/Staying In Shape Motivation Thread

I participated in my first athletic event this past November and fell in love with running. It was a 10k trail run with a lot of elevation. Had a blast and haven’t let off the gas. Since then I haven’t participated in anymore races. However, like you (OP), I’m running a bunch now. I won’t do...
