I wouldn’t bother with out fat tires. Better options out there.

    Best Climbing Sticks?

The beauty of our obsession is our likes and dislikes progress the longer we enjoy this hobby. If you would have asked me what the best stick was two years ago I would have given you a different answer than today. Best is relative to the person you ask. Good luck.

Where are these threads? First I heard of this, pardon the pun. I got mine late season, used them at least 7 times and I weigh 240 with out gear. No issues. They come with a three year warranty.

    latitude 2024 sale

I wear a size 13 and love these sticks. The beauty is the attachment system and how you’re not on each stick for very long. Nest and carry great. Third different set of sticks and don’t see ever changing. Fortunately I got my on sale pre-Christmas at $189.00 for three + one. With aiders on all...

At 13lbs without sticks might as well carry a climber.

Those who wear need pads. Do you wear them in or pack them? I went minimalist mid season and have enjoyed my hunts more not packing a bunch of stuff.

How much do you move when up a tree? I am 61 and although i have figured out the saddle comfort element my legs and feet go to hurting pretty quick into the hunt.

    Attaching sticks while climbing

I have transitioned to Latitude sticks and since any type of string/attachment will prevent them from nesting correctly I have attached loops of this elastic rope/thread to my saddle. It stretches enough to go around the stand offs but does not stretch to the point the sticks dangle badly. Easy...

What did you learn this hunting season?

I learned that cell cameras are not an advantage more of a disadvantage. I hunted less and killed less because I chose not to hunt so as not to spoil an area because target deer either walked by in the dark or failed to walk in the 40 x 30 yard cone of camera coverage.

    Element Outdoors

No scientific evidence on the scent destroying properties but the clothing quality is good. Own the light weight early season outfit. All good so far.

    Heated base layers?

I have a Tidewe heated vest and it has helped with reducing bulk plus it works. The freedom of less bulk while hiking and not over heating is priceless. https://www.tidewe.com/collections/holiday-sale2

Ideas for securing gear in a canoe?

I use a kayak. I attach a regular life vest to my back pack, sticks, platform and bow. If it will keep a grown person afloat it will keep 30 lbs of gear off the bottoms.
