Lone wolf handclimber/ Saddle combo Part 3

Thanks for posting. The lone wolf hand climber seat is my preferred method of climbing but the belt snags the tree a LOT. This looks like it will solve that problem

    DIY saddle question???

I bought a machine and have made many saddles. I overkilled with the stitching, used mil spec supplies but I still wore my rock harness. Last year I bought a mantis and love it. I have owned a Guido's, treesuit, treesaddle ....buy a a mantis and hunt! I still sew some accessories but I'm done...

My question is how good should your physcal shape should be using a tree saddle

Like many of the other posts - I don't want to pack all that weight in and out. Using sticks require much less effort than using a saddle and climber top.

My question is how good should your physcal shape should be using a tree saddle

I'm 56 and had 40 plus pack in saddle hunts this last year. I have saddle hunted on and off 20 plus years. But I couldn't walk away from my lone wolf sit climb with a hazmore seat. But this last year I strictly saddle hunted and am hooked. My preferred climbing method is a lone wolf climber hand...

    Saddle bridge..home sewn

I use a 24" sewn loop for a bridge when I build a saddle. Just put it where it is supposed to be prior to sewing. Works great!

    Sewing Machine

I use an old singer66 that sucker has sewn many saddles. I do break needles once in a while. I realize there are better ones but for $50 it works.

    Public Land Challenge...who’s watching?

I enjoy watching their stuff! Just good guys getting the job done. My home is in the middle of where they do a lot of their hunting. I am surrounded by public hunting so I hunt and scout primarily public, I have gotten a few pictures of them on my cameras. Kind of neat to try and figure out...

    Breath Cleansing?

I saw the thread title and I also saw your posts which strayed from "Breath Cleansing" You seem to be looking to stir up ****. Ok for you to go off topic and no one else? Back on topic - My mouth cleansing routine involves - flossing, brushing with baking soda, scraping my tongue and rinsing...

    Breath Cleansing?

I too have been thru the no scent ritual. When I was young I would quit eating meat and drinking coffee a month prior to season....and take chlorophyll capsules. I would drive to my hunting location and strip down then re-dress into scentless clothes, brush my teeth and gargle with baking soda...

    HuntStand

I also use a couple different aps but my go to is Huntstand. If I am going in blind I use Googlemaps. Place a pin on the map entirely by terrain features without walking the area. Then go in Very early a.m. and pick a tree close to the pin that was placed. I have had good success hunting like...
