2016 Trail Camera pictures

A few of the bucks I was chasing this season. All but the fourth are still alive going into the last weekend of season to my knowledge.

You got some nice bucks there ... what state are you in?

I love setting out cameras... without it there's often no sign of a big buck in the area.. im pretty sure i already posted my pics.... not impressive for country, but for my part of the state very nice..

I'm in Mississippi.

Hay thwack 16, I'm from Corinth, Mississippi. My son and I hunt in lower Tishomingo county (Belmont/Golden/Bama state line area) in Northeast part of the state. We are getting some great deer on camera also. Don't want to post them cause if a club member finds out, we will not be able to shake them off.......you know what I mean......
I'm not wanting to know your camera location but what part of the the state you reside.

Here I am bustin my rear on public land and my dad got 3 shooters in the first 4 days of ever putting a camera on the family farm... place hasn't been hunted in 25 years.

Uh....
Hasn't been hunted in 25 years? Don't let it reach 26.

I know... that first pic is of a buck that is a main frame 12 so long as it has browtines. The 8 and 9 are both easy shooters too.

Last few pics before antlers drop...
New feeder location (same as the above pics I posted) that my dad set up after a couple creek crossings were torn to shreds. Feeder has been throwing for 2 weeks, camera has been up since the 26th. We have multiple pics, on different days, of 4 "target" bucks running with a couple yearling bucks. A 12 that looks about 4.5, a 9 that looks about 4.5, a nice 8 that looks like he may be a little older, and a smaller 8 that I'm guessing at 2.5.

The 12 (same buck as first pic in previous post)

The 9 (same buck as 3rd pic in previous post)

And the "sea of antlers" kinda hard to tell which buck is which.

We had already talked, before getting all the good buck pics, about putting in a food plot in this area but the pics lit a fire under us. We knocked some of the plot out today. Should be about 1/3 acre planted, and it has a persimmon in it. I still need to burn a pile and stump from a walnut tree we cut down, but it is almost ready for some buckwheat to hold the sandy soil until I can decide what I want planted here.

From the northeast corner, walk-in gate to the left and a patch of cottonwoods the plot arcs around (possible ground blind spot, but I want to hang from them in my saddle)

And, the panorama from where a ground blind would be placed.

Is it October yet.....?

I'm jealous... good for you... looks like a sweet set up...
I'm exited to see how things turn out... hope you get a nice buck out of there..

This was Numero Uno as I called him on last year's hit list. I had over 20 photos of him and then the season started ... lol
