Can I extend this to a 29.5” as is or do I need to buy new cams? Sorry if this is a newbie question im new to bowhunting.

You’re good. On this bow you don’t need to buy new cams, but I believe you would need to buy new cam spacers for the draw length you want. Unfortunately this bow is not made anymore and the company is out of business so you would need to find some spacers another way I’m afraid.
