Hey guys, wanted to bring this up because I've seen a few comments, youtube videos, etc that were a bit concerning, and I've ran into 2 or 3 people in the past that didn't even know this was a possibility.

Fellas, if you're climbing with your wedding band on, and don't want to remove it to hunt, at least invest in a silicone band. They're cheap.

If youre not aware, take a second if you're not squeamish, and look up ring finger de-gloving. It only takes a small mistep, slip, etc to catch the edge of your ring just right.

When I was on active duty I'd slide my wedding band on my watch strap during the duty day just because of that possibility

I've never had a ring "ground out" while welding...not sure how u pull that 1 off. I did have a dingleberry make it thru a hole in the glove and stick to the metal ring and burned the tar out of me finggy....couldn't get it off fast enough and didn't have water to quench. I switched to the rubber rings years ago. They last a year or 2 and break. Rocking the wally world cheapos...I think it was a 5 pack

One of the guys on the huntr podcast only has 9 fingers due to a ring accident while working on a tree stand. I’ve never been married at all so I’m basically impervious to all injuries.
