    Beast stick mods. Anyone?

Yeah, I think the standoffs that really bite the tree have been helpful to me in 2 situations: - reducing kickouts that can occur when using an attachment method that doesn’t snug the stick super tight like a daisy chain or rope mod. - when you use a 1-stick as a platform and don’t want it to...

    Bald/shaved head care

Shave my head everyday with a electric razor. If I want to get really close for some reason, I’ll do the electric and then a regular razor. Never had any ingrowns or that sort of thing.

Fuzzy Material - Where to buy?

Yeah, I copied tailgunners idea and used camo fleece on my squirrel steps. Used Gorilla spray adhesive to attach strips of the fleece. Lasted a couple of seasons before it started getting really ratty.

    Custom Gear Modifications Side Pouch

The right side of that buckle is typically sewn on and not intended to be easily adjusted - tri-glide accomplishes that without sewing. The left side is the adjustable side and some webbing is too thin or slick and just slides through - I have fixed this in the past on my DIY saddles by sewing a...

    Custom Gear Modifications Side Pouch

Is this because the belt comes loose? In other words, is the belt webbing sliding its way out of the buckle? I’ve had this happen before with different belt and webbing combos since webbing comes in different thicknesses and materials.

    Bowfishing

Yup, I bowfish a bit. Really fun when you get into them. My backup bowfishing bow is a compound set at 60 lbs using fiberglass arrows so you should be fine with your 50 lbs draw weight.

    Trophyline Hyperlite Series!!!

Yeah, this is what I was thinking except change the last part to “around the tree, over the near side tab, attach on far side tab and cinch”….. Using a strap like the old LW strap with a loop on each end you’d be fine.

How far do you think a deer can see.

Here’s a great, authoritative video on the topic that I found a few years ago - always worth another watch. University of Georgia and MSU seem to have great programs that study and present topics like this on YouTube. https://youtu.be/Y9gbl-RS14A?si=4XMcvdDbPCNZCE67

    ROS storage\attachment

I stuff them in a fleece pouch hanging on my saddle. Not an elegant solution, but it works.

    Using activated carbon powder

I used activated charcoal powder for a year or two - it works great but man, is it messy! I’d look like a coal miner after using that stuff.
