    Tethrd One Sticks Gen 2

I'm so conflicted. I can't tell if most of the users here want to see Tethrd burn or see them succeed? Hate to say it but this forum is mostly toxic these days. Probably just quietly log off for the last time. See ya.

I love hunting turkeys. I really dont love eating wild turkey...Please help!

Save all the brining, smoking, slow cooker, whatever recipes and thank me later... Go buy 10lbs of pork back or belly fat. Completely debone all your turkey meat. Cut turkey and fat into 1-2" cubes - whatever isn't too big to get into your grinder. Mix fat and turkey meat at 1:1 ratio. Find a...

The Helo is Getting me Out of the Saddle

Just another tool. I do all my hang and hunts out of a saddle but they tend to be shorter affairs: 1-3hrs. I also still hunt from the ground, sit in box and popup blinds, and hunt a few permanent hang on tree stands. Would you try to build a house with just a screw driver? Why limit yourself to...

    Vpa single bevel sharpening.

Yes. I run them on a medium diamond stone by hand. You should end up with a large burr on the bottom of the blade if you are sharpening at correct angle. Once that's done I step up to a fine stone. After that I remove burr by lightly running that edge over the fine stone. Then I step up to...

    Stabilizer

I have TAP stabilizers. Spendy but nice. Running an 8” side and front stab with their sidebar mount and front QD mount. I had spider stabilizers too, which were a little easier on the wallet and also nice. I’ve also owned bee stinger which were also totally fine. Since I run longer ATA bows I...

    Pipe and cigar talk

Become a big fan of Comacho over the last few years. Not cheap but not crazy expensive either. Their Criollo is probably one of my favorite mild cigars.

Would you shoot the first doe?

I would shoot that doe, Sam-I-Am. And I would shoot it with a Bow. And I would shoot it with Gun. And I would shoot it and have fun! And I would shoot it in the woods. And I would shoot it on a farm. And in a swamp, and on the ground, and in a tree! I would shoot that doe anywhere, you see!

I think I just had an original thought.

I have a shield 45 and but just bought a shield 9mm. The 45 is too heavy/bulky for every day concealed carry. Haven’t decided if I will keep the 45 yet or not, as I do like it for a potential bear deterrent. But in 10+ years of traversing the big woods I’ve yet to stumble upon a bear… Sent...

    Tethrd Phantom XL

I used one at a TNT. It's comfy. Very generous sizing. We had several Squatch-sized men test it out and were impressed. We did not have suspenders to play with unfortunately, so I can't comment on how well or not they work.

    Dan Infalt’s Changes

No contract, no terms was what the prime guys told me. Just reached out to him to see if they could build him a bow. If you want to read more into it than that then that's on you. Not everyone is in it to pump a brand (although i'm sure both will enjoy the optics). Besides Dan has his own brand...

    Oplux tether

Add an additional wrap to the prusik or try a distel hitch friction knot instead of the prusik. The sheath on the oplux is slippery and depending on the accessory cord you're using you'll likely need an extra wrap for it to bite enough under load to prevent from slipping.
