    The strap that comes w the sticks is noisy Velcro and I’ve broken both of mine,the bungee is the way to go. You can leave the strap loose from your first stick, bring over your shoulder and hook to top cleats and tighten down.

    Thanks, thought as much. I guess you could pop rivet them in place. I’m using Alice pack shoulder straps on my bundle, thought I could spread them out w these.

    Before I converted to Amsteel also, I was having the same issue. I fixed the sipper so it stopped halfway down or so,with a large safety pin though both sides of sipper.

    You could use on pre sets and leave them in trees.

    I did this to 4 of mine. Welded 2 chain links to each one and ran heavy ratchet strap though them. It worked ok, but was super noisy and heavy, scraped that idea.

    Thanks, I use to shoot several days a week too. To tell the truth, I’d rather shoot traditional. It’s more relaxed and you don’t have any bells and whistles of compounds. Most of my bow kills have been 25 yds and under. You could probably cut about 8 to 10lbs of gear going traditional. I’m...
