    Bullman silent approach system?

I bought the 2 pack to try them out. They’re nice but slippery when wet and they are not really made for bigger guys. I’m 230 and had the straps slip through the buckles when you really put your weight on them. I ended up going with the wild edge stepps. Easy to put up and much more sturdy. Plus...

    Wild Edge Stepp's

A lot of guys are using Amstel but I think if it was truly better than what Andrew uses he’d start using that on his product. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Wild Edge Stepp's

Good to know. I think the old rope works well on certain trees but some trees they are difficult to get right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Wild Edge Stepp's

I think your right on the rope. I’m going to buy a new set these are some I’ve been borrowing from a friend. The oaks up here in the northeast are pretty smooth unless your in a giant. Soft bark trees are tough I noticed. They loosen up once you step on them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Wild Edge Stepp's

I’m having the same problem with the older stepps. I didn’t know if it was the rope. I know he uses different rope now. On a smooth barked tree like an oak or maple it works good anything soft or rough i struggle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Curious about spurs

I’ve been using the WE stepps for a few days now. I like them a lot. I think their a little more difficult on softer bark trees. They cam over tight but seem to dig in and loosen when you step on them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Curious about spurs

Good to know thanks. I was curious how they worked on those trees. It was my first time in Illinois last year and was a learning curve with the trees. The bark was so hard and deep grooved I had a hard time getting sticks to bite. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Curious about spurs

How do they work on some of those big gnarled bark trees in the Midwest?? I’ve noticed a lot of those trees are even tough with sticks. They seem to slip and kick out easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    LW sticks rope mods

What size is everyone using for Amsteel Blue on their Lone Wolf sticks? I’ve been using 3/8” static rope but thinking about going to Amsteel so I can make my own loops. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good to know I didn’t know if they slipped out more often but that makes sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Curious about spurs

Same here I’m also curious how they do on hard bark trees like maple, oak, beech ect. Most of the videos I’ve seen have been in soft bark trees. I’ve had minimal experience using them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
