Grizzlystik broadheads (arrow build time :)

I’ve used both the GrizzlyStik Masai heads and the Silver Flames you mentioned as well as the Cutthroat 150 RH bevel heads. All have spun really well out of the package and fly well too, the one thing that made me switch to Iron Wills was the ability or inability to resharpen the heads...

    Top of your climbing sticks

I’ll use the bottom of my last muddy stick for my feet and then my knees rest against the top steps and it’s super comfortable you should try it. I then wrap my ring of steps level with the bottom of my stick standoffs. Works really well for a lightweight setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Traditional Bow Recommendations

I’ve owned the Martin/Damon H Savanna longbow, great little stick for the price (I think I paid $315 used) unfortunately it was so light in the hand that I developed some pretty bad bow shock in my bow arm and could barely handle a few arrows after a while. Just my experience with it though...

I fell... Should I check my gear?

I’d like to mention something else I didn’t see above - and that’s once you do fall and your system takes that linear stress you should really think about replacing your rope and triple checking connections if it was a decent drop before the rope took your fall. Most quality climbing rope brands...

Knee Pads or pad on tree?

The pants I own and wear on literally every hunt in any state unless it’s 85+ degrees are Sitka Timberline Pants, they come with integrated knee pads that can be removed. They are a life saver for saddle hunting and it’s so nice to not have to worry about strapping on pads and noise. ~Hoyt...

New Kestrel “riding up” What should I do?

So when you say “running your bridge lower” do you mean you actually shortened the bridge rope a bit? Did you leave the tag end/extra on or cut it after you found the sweet spot? ~Hoyt Satori & Buffalo-Vortex Optics-Sitka Gear-Aero Hunter Kestrel~

New Kestrel “riding up” What should I do?

When you say the tether is at eye level are you talking the actual connection point to the bridge is at eye level or the girth hitch around the trunk is at eye level? Thanks! ~Hoyt Satori & Buffalo-Vortex Optics-Sitka Gear-Aero Hunter Kestrel~

New Kestrel “riding up” What should I do?

Hey guys, I’m 5’10” 160lbs and have been really trying to get the Kestrel to be super comfortable and I know it’s possible just haven’t gotten it quite right. I was having issues with it riding up and pinching my crotch/legs so I’ve found that if I start off with the waist belt extremely low I...
