    Seems last fall/winter someone on this thread was using the MAXX™ LITE Climbing Stick Aider from Hunt Arsenal in 2TC with some comments about liking it but then heard no more. Seems it could be a little more stable foot "loop".

    I had thought the 2 stirrup idea might help as well but havent tried. Jerry had said that for him it "sucked" and "Maneuvering the double stirrup whilst pushing myself away from the tree was a challenge."

    I used the maverick all last season and love it as well. My feeling is that the exploding loop wouldn't pull out while weighted in a rappel- without some real effort. Might be a good thing to do some low testing for some self assurance. I'll have to do that myself in a couple months.
