Guys, the seasons are all closed here in Ontario. It was a pleasure teaming up with you guys. If any of you are ever travelling North of the border message me. We can argue about who has better hunting, over a better beer on a better fishing hole.

    2024 plans?!?

I'm working on a plan for some deer hunting in Saskatchewan. I don't think I will be moose hunting this year, so I'll head West.

Great work boys. We all understand that nobody cares about the points or the contest standings, but way to keep at it.

Found a Summit climber for cheap, might use it actually.

I hunted out of a summit for several years and thought it was great. Then I started saddle hunting, and it has sat unused for 5 years now. This past fall, I took the climber up to my moose hunt with the intention of setting it up in one spot as an option - and then to use my saddle and various...

Pre and Post Hunting Prep and “Finished For The Day” Details We Seldom Discuss

Nobody is really talking about dealing with sweaty clothing. I start the season with everything washed in non scent detergent. Then as I hunt I rewash things when I feel they need it. Probably I wash 3 times a season. I don't have a process for this. I don't use scentlok that could get...

    Crossbow Conundrum

North of the border we just don't have the same hang-ups on crossbows. Lots of hunters use them, lots use vertical bows. People around here save their energy to debate which beer is best over what kind of bow to use. If it is legal in your area, and it feels right to you, go for it.

OK boys I got it done yesterday. I shot this guy at 10 yards on a travel route Ive been hunting for years deep in a cedar swamp. He's not the biggest deer north of the border, but he can still get the puck out of the corner....

I am back from my moose hunt. We almost got it done. Both my buddy and I had bulls inside 80 yards, but we couldn't get them closer. If we were rifle hunting things would have been a lot different. I was in my saddle and had a bull grunting at me from a cluster of cedars - I was so pumped...
