    Clouded Leopard Camo Hoodie Review

Thanks for the review Nutterbuster! I also have had 3 deer under me this season (one which I shot) that had no clue I was there. Though the clothing is warm, quiet and comfy, I am mostly selling the pattern right now and trying to break into "the industry". I am not a company, I am just a hunter...

I have the Centerpoint Wrath 430 which I like. You would get it for almost half what I paid 2 years ago.

    Whitetail Forensics Camo

To me, in order to prevent you from becoming a dark blob, you need an open pattern with high contrast and no white. Also important is a thing called edge enhancement, which many camouflaged creatures in nature possess. A lot of camouflage patterns ignore this and just use random placement...

How High in the Tree Were You When You Killed Your Biggest Buck?

Agreed. Although I do like a low exit wound to aid in tracking.

I thought of that after I asked. Duh. It looks like the Ibex is 100% merino wool. I snagged one of their tops and some smart wool bottoms.

Smart Wool merino base layers on sale at STP

Is SmartWool better than the Edie Bauer stuff? Eddie Bauer is $14 cheaper.

    Horizontal Rubs

Was it spring of 2023? What kind of tree did you use? He claims you need a scotch pine and you should put it out beginning of October.

    Horizontal Rubs

Has anyone tried making a horizontal rub setup like what Ted Miller does, especially on public land? Were you successful?

    New products at www.tomscamo.com

I have added puffer jackets and pants in the clouded leopard pattern to complete your camo setup. Go take a look. It is the best break up pattern by far for those of us who hunt from trees.

What do you think of this camo pattern?

BTW. I can't self promote in the general area so that's why it a little hard to find me here in the vendor area. That shouldn't stop you guys from mentioning the pattern if you like it though... Just sayin. This season will be one of experimenting. However, I know from my experience with ASAT...

What do you think of this camo pattern?

Thanks for the feedback! I have a Cabelas coat in what they call Berber Fleece. I agree that texture would help. Clouded leopard also have the texture of their fur which works to their advantage. I would like it if my fabric supplier had that option but they currently do not. Polartec fleece is...
