    Good info thanks! I'd rather drive myself down, but need to be in vegas on the 20th so need to hustle home a bit. Hunting with limited gear might be painful enough, really don't wanna be limited on woods travel too.

    Keto - If you're a saddle hunter, I think you'll dig it.

    The brain fog usually lasts 3 days for me when getting into keto. However that usually takes 2 days of keto eating before it starts. Quest bars can kill the fog for me but some people get kicked out of ketosis from them which means your gonna start the fog all over again

    Not sure what laws are in your area but I don't drag deer out of the woods. I debone the meat on site. Pack meat out in backpack and carry the head if it's a buck. I can have this done in usually 45min. No need to field dress and get blood all over.

    Platform Options for a New Guy

    If you guys look at the back side of your full sheets of plywood or osb you'll see a stamp that says 'strength axis' with directional arrows. Arrows should run perpendicular to support. I'm brand new to saddles but know a thing or two about wood lol. I also would trust a piece of 3/4"...
