    Hunting from the ground

David Toms did a video on modifying the Hammock seat. I copied what he did and really like the modifications for making it quiet and ease of seat up. I used a large camo mesh decoy bag.

    That time again, Permethrin!

I just got 10 items back from Insect Shield I think it was about $80.00. I've had Lyme disease twice so I'm not taking anymore chances. Nice to be able to send in your own clothes and it's supposed to last for 70 washes or the life of the garment. Here's the link...

    Tree suit noise mods..

I put some heavy Velcro on last night, it helped but came off pretty quickly due to contact with the tree. However the glue remained on the the post and that seemed to help quiet it down. I think the bed liner spray might work or a thin coat of silicone calking on either side of the the...

    Tree suit noise mods..

I thought about using a row of tapcon screws to give a little more space between the post and rougher bark trees but not sure I want to put any extra holes in the aluminum.

    Tree suit noise mods..

This morning real quick I taped some inner tube to the post. Silence...but it wore thru it in one three min hang. Trying to think of a longer lasting solution as well.

How do you like the scout on the bottom of the stick? Think of doing the same thing to my full length hawk helium.

    DIY Target back stop

I've made many targets out of these and they last a long time outside. I stuff with plastic from a furniture store or from contractors. https://www.amazon.com/Secbolt-2200lbs-Duffle-Bottom-Polypropylene/dp/B07D3NRSJ9/ref=sr_1_17?keywords=bulk%2Bgrain%2Bbags%2Bwaste&qid=1583159793&sr=8-17&th=1

    Climbing sticks as a platform???

Has anyone placed the artisan platform on the bottom step of their stick? I think I would like it on the bottom step, if it could be installed there, and have a pad hanging from the step above to lean against. I also think this would be nice for one sticking.

(Video) Foot climber for saddle hunting

What size trees do these sizes fit? How much weight difference is there between the three sizes? I am looking at having one welded up but not sure which size to have them make it. It sound like the 20 is your favorite just curious why? Thanks for the advice, this look like the ticket for...

    Masking your sounds?

Walking in noisy leaves I like to stop frequently and use a diaphragm turkey call to call softly as I go. Only two legged creature deer ignore. If I forget the call I try to deer walk as G Fred Asbell describes in his book the, Stalking and Still Hunting book. Great read by the way.
